Who

Casa Verde is an online shop dedicated to ethically manufactured home goods and personal accessories. They source their products from small-batch, handmade artisans in the U.S. and fair-trade craft collectives globally. They needed a brand strategy visual identity that would convey their ethos along with a go-to-market plan that would help them make an impact in both the independent gift market along with the conscious consumerism movement.

Visual Identity

We created a visual identity system that was clean and elegant, but also conveyed a handmade quality with the imperfect circle. We did not want the shop’s identity to overpower that of the items in the shop, but, instead, complement the products and create a platform to showcase their various artisan partners and their work.

Marketing Strategy

In order to elevate Casa Verde’s presence within the marketplace we created a holiday gift guide that was sent out to major national and local lifestyle publications, influencers and blogs. This included art directing product and lifestyle photoshoots, content strategy and copywriting, and a proposal to accompany the guide. Additionally, we crafted a digital marketing strategy that included both consumer and media e-blasts, ad placements, and content marketing and collaborations with other conscious consumerism brands.

The Outcome

Casa Verde has a consistent visual identity and messaging platform that work in tandem to communicate its brand values to its audience. These have already been applied to their website, consumer and media email marketing, print collateral, social media and will continue to grow to incorporate individual campaigns and product launches.
